My phone buzzed at 6:30 this morning to tell me that the Dow Jones industrial average hit 16,000 for the first time.  Yeah? I guess.  Supposedly stocks have been rising sharply this year as companies report bigger profits.  Yeah for them … I guess.  How about these companies turn around and hire some folks.  Specifically me.  As much as I adore my dogs (I have 3 sleeping at my feet right now which means 2 are roaming around somewhere) I need to make more money.  To make more money I need to get a job.  To get a job I need to apply for jobs.  Well … I’m a freakin’ superstar at that.  If I told you the number of resumes I have submitted over the last year you would fall down into a sympathy coma.  I don’t want to do that to you.  Just know its a lot … a ton.  I’m not an idiot and I’m not a bad person.  I’m an intelligent, well-educated, good person with a very strong resume.  Which apparently means unemployable.  Let’s change that!  This week is the week something brilliant comes up!  (Fingers and toes crossed.)
